Seven Day Money Back Guarantee

In the unlikely event that you are dissatisfied in some way with the instrument you bought from us, you may return it within seven days of receipt for a refund.

How to apply for a refund

1. Contact us and ask for a return authorization.

2. Ship the instrument back to us, registered and insured. Please also return all original packing materials (including cellophane instrument wraps and cardboard boxes, if any) and accessories, with no marks or fingerprints. The instrument must be ready for resale.

3. You will be refunded the amount you paid for the purchase, less the shipping and insurance costs, and a 3% fee to cover the fee charged to us by Ebay for advertising and commission.
For example, if your instrument cost $900, plus $55 postage and insurance, your refund will be $900 less $37 (3% of $900) = $863.

We will refund your payment via PayPal or bank transfer within seven days.

Shipping Costs
Under this guarantee you will be responsible for paying the shipping cost in both directions. Remember that you bought the instrument at a very good price originally.
You will need to arrange insurance, as we cannot be responsible for items that we don’t receive, even when we believe that you sent them. Most post offices and couriers have a service that requires the receiver to sign for receipt upon delivery, and can notify you when this is done. We advise you to use this service, for your protection.

Conclusion
Most people are delighted with their instruments, so it’s unlikely you will wish to exercise this Guarantee. However, if you do, we will honor the Guarantee, thus you are assured of a risk-free purchase.

12 Month Replacement Warranty

How the warranty works - if something goes wrong with your instrument

Step 1 - Try to Fix it Yourself - It’s Quite Simple

Why should you try to fix it yourself? Isn’t that what the warranty is for?

Nine times out of ten, all that has happened is that an adjusting screw has worked its way loose, allowing a leak to occur in one of your pads. Every note below the leak will be fuzzy and hard to play, causing you extreme frustration and disappointment. This is a very common problem with wind instruments, but it can usually be fixed very easily.

The other most common problem is a spring coming off. Springs on wind instruments keep keys open or closed. It’s very simple to pop them back in place.

More often than not, it will save you time if you spend a few minutes learning how to turn a tiny screw a few degrees. Even if you had bought the instrument from a store, paying a much higher price than you will from us, you could still find yourself driving half an hour each way across town, only to be told that you will need to leave the instrument with the repairer because he’s busy right now, or that he works in a different location. You could be told to come back in a few days, which means another hour in the car, not to mention the fact that you would be without your instrument for however long it takes to get it fixed.

It’s also good to know a little about instrument maintenance for those times when your instrument is out of warranty, and you don’t have the time, money or inclination to consult someone else. Maybe it’s Sunday, and you have an important performance tomorrow, and you suddenly discover a leak. Having the knowledge to take care of the problem yourself will be an invaluable skill that will get you out of a tight spot.

So, if you tried to fix it yourself, following the tutorial to be found by clicking here, your problem is solved and you are a little wiser as a bonus.

If this doesn’t work, proceed to Step 2.

Step 2 - You Tried to Fix it, but got Nowhere

Please let us know as soon as possible. You will have two options.

Option 1. You can take your instrument to a repairer in your area. We will pay for the cost of repairs up to a maximum of $25.00. To claim your rebate you will need to provide us with a written report from the repairer. Just scan it and email a copy to us. There are two reasons why we need the report. Firstly, because some people, not you of course, would claim the $25.00 without actually having gone to any repairer. Secondly, we can pass on the comments to our manufacturer to upgrade the quality of our instruments.

We will refund your payment via PayPal within seven days, provided that fewer than 12 months have elapsed since the date of your purchase. You can only have your instrument repaired once under this warranty.

Option 2. After contacting us and receiving authorization, you can ship the instrument back to us and we will repair or replace it. In this case you will be responsible for paying the shipping cost in both directions. The reason you have to pay for the shipping is because you bought the instrument at a very good price originally.
You will need to arrange insurance, as we cannot be responsible for items that we don’t receive, even when we believe that you sent them. Most post offices and couriers have a service that requires the receiver to sign for receipt upon delivery, and can notify you when this is done. We advise you to use this service, for your protection.

Instrument Damaged When You Receive it
In the unlikely event that your instrument arrives damaged, we will replace it at our expense, provided that you contact us within seven days of receipt. After you receive your return authorization you must also return all original packing materials (including cellophane instrument wraps and cardboard boxes, if any) and accessories, with no marks or fingerprints.

Instrument Not as Described
If your instrument is different from the one you purchased, eg, you ordered a piccolo and received a baritone saxophone, simply contact us within 7 days of receipt, to arrange for a return. We will refund you the cost of return shipping as long as it is in accordance with our instructions. After you receive your return authorization you must also return all original packing materials (including cellophane instrument wraps and cardboard boxes, if any) and accessories, with no marks or fingerprints.

Limits to Warranty

1. We will only repair or replace instruments which are faulty due to improper or defective manufacture. The warranty is not an insurance policy, and cannot be used to claim for loss or damage caused by your misuse or negligence.

2. The warranty is not transferable. This means that it will not apply to someone else if you sell or give your instrument to them.

3. Our liability under the warranty is limited to repair or replacement of the instrument, and possibly shipping costs. It does not cover you, for instance, for emotional trauma should you fail your final exam due to a spring coming off your instrument.

4. The warranty does not cover defects caused by normal wear and tear, or defects resulting from improper use or use contrary to normal usage, accidental damage, breakages, misuse, failure to observe normal operating procedures, damage caused by insufficient maintenance and care, or damage caused by modifications, interventions or attempted repairs that are not carried out, or authorized by us.

5.Consumable items, cases, cleaning cloths, gloves, zippers, case latches, straps, reeds, and other small accessories are excluded from this guarantee.

Conclusion
Warranty claims are rare, as our instruments are so reliable. Whatever happens, we will honor the warranty, so you are assured of a risk-free purchase.
